General Meeting Information
Our club meetings are every 3rd Wednesday
of the month at 7:00pm. From September
through April we meet at the Lee's Summit
Municipal Airport in the EAA Hanger
building. May through August, we meet at
flying field at Fleming Park Lake Jacomo.
General Field Information
Our R/C flying field is East of 291
Highway in Fleming Park (Lake Jacomo).
Take Woods Chapel Road East from 291
Highway, turn right onto Rennau Drive,
then left into the flying Field parking
lot. The field opens at 9:00am daily.
General Runway Information
The R/C flying field is across the road
from the Soccer Field on Rennau Dr. We
have a 40' x 500' asphalt runway and a
40'x500' adjacent grass runway. The runway
runs north and south. Be prepared to fly
in a crosswind. Other features include
concrete startup pads in the pit area,
plenty of shade trees and a spacious
shelter house. There are also bleachers
for many spectators this fun hobby can

About Our Members
The best thing we have is a group of
really good hearted members who are always
willing to help out someone new to the
hobby. We have several designated trainers
and we presently have a club trainer plane
and radio outfit for those who want to try
their hand at it before investing the
bucks. Once they try, they're hooked on
R/C model airplane flying.
Directions to our field
From I 70 and Missouri Highway 291
go south on Hwy 291. Exit 291 at NE
Woods Chapel Road. Turn left on NE
Woods Chapel Road got about 3/4 mile and
turn right onto NE Rennau turn left at the
top of hill. The field is on the
left and the soccer fields are on the
right.
